In this video, I give you a puppy training tip that is a very important exercise, especially if your puppy has the tendency to guard food or objects. The goal for this exercise is to teach your puppy to be less possessive over the food, bone, or toy. You should start out by approaching the dog and dropping a food treat next to the object the puppy has. As you progress, you will approach the puppy feed and then pick up the object and then give it back to the puppy.
